Using Different Camera Settings

Last week I took these 3 pictures using different camera settings so I could compare the changes. I also used Picasa2 to reduce the picture quality & to post them on my Blog.

In this first picture I used the 'Close Up' Setting on the camera. It has shown a lot of definition in the face and the colour is good. The background is blurred so the emphasis is kept on the main subject in the picture. I am happy with this photo & think this setting has produced the best results.

In this picture the camera was set on 'Portrait'. The background is blurred so attention isn't taken from the main subject. Unfortunately the statue is also blurred, probably because I was too close. This setting may have been ok if I hadn't been so close.

I used the 'Landscape' setting in this final picture. As you can see, the background is quite clear but the statue in the foreground is blurred.
